• Question: What you want to do with your money is similar to the new longitude prize. Did you get some inspiration from this?

      Yes some of my inspiration came from that!

      But also, I think a big part of my decision of giving the money back and having you decide what you want to do with it was to inspire you as students- to get you intimately involved with OUR science. This way, you as students get to stay involved with this cool competition even longer, and it gets you to think about your own science, rather than just hearing about my science! It give you the opportunity to actually become a scientist for a short time 🙂
