      Hi dauntlesscake

I love to Tweet and Facebook about science! There’s so much new science coming out everyday, it’s great to read about it, and share my own science! I love doing things like this to- talking to students about science. It inspires me, and i hope it inspires them (you!) too.

      Hey Dauntlesscake

My favourite science experiment that I have ever done was the screaming jellybaby experiment. You might have seen it in class already:

(I also do the elephants toothpaste experiment when I go into schools)

Now I work as a scientist I like taking vidoes of my cells moving around and dividing under the microscope. If I tag them with fluorescent antibodies I can get some amazing pictures!

When I have time I read books about palaeontology, just for fun. My husband is weirder – he does calculus for fun!
