      I love matches. Fire is such a primitive thing, and we can make it with just one stroke!

      ooow tough question! hmmm… well i would have to say the internet! I can’t imagine a world without the internet!! I mean, seriously, not being able to talk to friends online, check emails, facebook, twitter, or look up cool science stuff!! It would be very different!

      but i also like the paperclip- it is such a simple invention but has been one of the most successful- i mean, think about it, a small piece of metal curled up, and millions and millions of people buy them and use them every day!!

      My favourite invention is definitely the Ipod (or any portable music player). All my friends joke that I might have to have it surgically removed if I don’t stop listening to it.

      But I think the best invention or discovery has to be electricity! We now use it for almost everything everywhere – I can’t imagine life without it!
