The hardest part, @rukiah, is getting funding. It is quite soul-destroying when you have to leave an idea – or university – or city – because the money wasn’t available at the right time.

      Don’t get me started!!!! Please!!!!

      Hi Rukiah

When I was younger I struggled more with physics because I didn’t understand the logic behind it – I just got told a bunch of equations to remember and wasn’t told why or how to use them. I had a few similar problems in chemistry, but now my PhD is actually in biochemistry I’m much better at it because I take the time to learn WHY I have to do absolutely everything. If you struggle with something, just keep asking “but why?” until you understand. It’s not annoying, and eventually you end up understanding things better than everyone else around you.
