  Well, Alzheimer’s can be inherited or random. So let me explain… basically some people randomly get a genetic mutation that will give them Alzheimer’s disease, but some people inherit faulty genes from their parents, and then get Alzheimer’s disease.
  
  SO… thousands of years ago, someone had a random genetic mutation, which gave them Alzheimer’s disease! This very first person to have Alzheimer’s disease then passed on the gene.
  
  Also, it probably didn’t just happen in one person, the random mutation probably happened to a few people! And they gave their children the bad genes!
