I work in Microbiology where we collect data for various clinical trials to make sure the drugs are working and safe
I work in the Microbiology department at Quintiles.
A typical day in Microbiology consists of three phases for myself. Since we are a small team, we all have defined roles that determne how we organise our day. In the morning, we read plates that were cultured the day before and enter the results into a computer. These results are then faxed to all doctors. I am in charge of stocktake and ordering, so this is what I do before lunch. After lunch, we process all samples that have come in from different parts of Europe.
